1. Send your request
Email us from the email address associated with your SmartPenny account, whether you use Google sign-in or email/password sign-in. Use the subject SmartPenny Account Deletion Request. You can use this process without signing in or reinstalling SmartPenny.
We may reply with a limited verification step to prevent an unauthorized person from deleting your account. You do not need to reinstall the app.
2. What we delete
After verification, we delete or irreversibly de-identify data associated with your SmartPenny account from active systems, including:
- your Firebase-linked SmartPenny account, profile, email, display name, and profile image reference;
- ledger entries, amounts, categories, dates, budgets, statistics, and recurring rules;
- family-ledger memberships and invitation records associated with your account;
- feedback, optional contact details, device information, and administrator replies associated with your account; and
- active authentication sessions and application tokens controlled by SmartPenny.
We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days and will confirm when the request is complete.
3. Limited retention
We may retain the minimum information required by law or reasonably needed for fraud prevention, security investigations, dispute resolution, or enforcing legal rights. Such information is isolated from normal product use and deleted when the reason for retention expires.
Records in a shared family ledger may include contributions involving other members. We delete or de-identify your account association while preserving only information that another member independently controls or that must be retained for a legitimate legal reason.

为防止他人冒用，我们可能通过邮件进行必要的账号核验。核验后，我们将在 30 天内删除或不可逆匿名化账号资料、账目、预算、周期规则、家庭账本成员关系、反馈、设备信息以及 SmartPenny 控制的有效登录会话，并在完成后回复确认。
如法律义务、反欺诈、安全调查或争议处理确有要求，我们可能仅保留必要的最少信息，并在保留目的结束后删除。共享家庭账本中涉及其他成员独立权益的记录，可能在删除你的账号关联并完成匿名化后继续保留。
